Mindy Jewell Price is a William Lyon Mackenzie King Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. She received her PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Mindy also holds an MPH in Global Health from the University of South Florida and a BA in Sociology from Emory University.
Prior to her doctoral work, Mindy served as a community health volunteer in Cape Town, South Africa, worked on women’s empowerment in dairy value chains with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Nairobi, Kenya and Morogoro, Tanzania, and on health equity with Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. She lives in Cambridge, MA, with her husband and two children. As a settler of Cornish, Norwegian, Swedish, and German descent who lives and works on – and benefits from – occupied territory of the Massachusett Tribe (Boston and Cambridge, MA), Mindy is committed to upholding her responsibilities to work in solidarity with communities for food and climate justice.
